After the haircut, your child will pick out a free treat from our Treasure Chest and also get a free balloon. You and your child will be eager to return to KidSnips again and again.

Toys and Novelty Items We have an ever-changing array of cool stuff that any child will love, from those inexpensive treats to great, affordable toys and gifts. Our prices generally range from $1 to $15. Please drop in even if your child is "between cuts" to take care of some of your own shopping for upcoming birthdays and holiday occasions.
Hair Accessories and Salon Products We carry an up-to-the-minute, trendy assortment of barrettes, bows, snaps, headbands, plus leading lines of children's and adult's shampoos, conditioners and styling products, combs, brushes and much more.
History KidSnips opened our first salon in downtown Highland Park, Illinois, in the summer of 1997. Thanks to the wonderful support of our terrific customers, we grew faster than your kid's hair! We opened our second store in Edens Plaza in Wilmette in 1998, and our Town Square Wheaton location in 1999. In early 2001, we opened in Northpoint Shopping Center in Arlington Heights. And in 2002, Vernon Hills and Oak Brook! Just this past fall 2003, we relocated our Highland Park store to Downtown Deerfield. We then opened our first store in Chicago, in Lincoln Park, and have now opened a new location in Naperville Crossing in Naperville! With so many locations, one is sure to be convenient for you. Appointments are recommended, but we are happy to welcome walk-ins whenever we can! Please feel free to call ahead to inquire.
