We’re excited to welcome you and your child back. And to give you a very big, but still socially distant, hello!
As a mom-owned-and-run business, not only are we following all local, state and federal guidelines, we’re going above and beyond to keep things safe…and fun…for everyone. Find out what you need to know before coming to KidSnips below.
What you need to know before coming in:
Friendly door greeters.
To help with client safety and check in, please wait outside until a door greeter comes to take temps, ask health questions, explain procedures and make sure everyone has their mask and feels comfortable before going in.
1 child/1 parent.
To keep things safe, we can only have limited people in the salon at a time – so please bring only 1 child/1 parent per stylist. If you need to bring another child who doesn’t have an appointment, please leave them with a second adult outside the salon.
Hair cut ready hair!
Please come with clean, detangled hair. Also, we won’t be doing blow-drys to keep germs from being spread so widely.
Masks for everyone.
All clients and staff, in fact, anyone in the salon ages 2 and up, needs to wear a mask. Don’t have one? No worries. We’ve got you covered with disposable masks for sale.
Though we’ll have ours available to watch videos on, your child won’t be allowed to touch them. If playing games helps them during a haircut, please bring your own tablet.
Because the virus can live on stuff, please limit personal items to your phone and credit card if possible – things you can easily tuck in your pocket!
Running late? Reschedule!
We are allowing extra time for each appointment to make sure we have plenty of time to clean well in-between. We’re sorry we can’t accommodate late arrivals or walk-ins right now.
Need a reminder checklist?
If you’re a parent who swears by their lists, here’s a quick one you can download, print and check before you head out the door for your appointment.
Do you have:
√ Clean hair for your child (clean hair for parents is optional!)
√ Your tablet
√ Your mask
√ Your child’s mask
√ Plenty of time to be on time
√ Another adult to sit with extra kids outside
