As we begin to prepare for the holidays this year, we know it might feel a little overwhelming as parents, since we are all still dealing with COVID and trying to follow the CDC guidelines about limiting the number of people gathering. And as much as we want our holidays to be happy, we also want them to be safe. So we wanted to share a couple of great articles we found about how to do that.


How to keep things fun AND safe during the holidays this year.

In this article from Boston Children’s Hospital, they share some really good and timely suggestions from Erica Lee, a psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her advice for parents on how to cope — and ideas for ways to celebrate — seemed particularly helpful to us.

Keeping your kids safe in the car and while traveling is always important.

We know, because of COVID concerns about limited gatherings, you probably won’t be traveling as much this holiday season as last year, but just in case travel is in the plans at all, we wanted to share this helpful article we found about car safety tips and apps for parents.

Many of these suggestions are helpful whether you’re going long distances or just want to be prepared for those necessary trips around town.
